12 DAYS / 11 NIGHTS
DAY 1: CASABLANCA – RABAT
Upon arrival to Casablanca, you will be met and transferred to Rabat, today you will visit the Hassan Tower, Mohammed V Mausoleum, Royal Palace and Kasbah Oudayas with a photo stop in front of the Necropolis of Chellah.
DAY 2: RABAT – MEKNES – VOLUBILIS – FEZ
After breakfast, depart for Meknes, here you will visit the Ismaili city, place Hdim El Bab Lakhmiss, Bab Mansour, one of the most beautiful gates in Morocco, the royal stables, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, after lunch, we depart for Volubilis to admire the Roman ruins and the holy city of Moulay Idriss.
Continue to Fez for overnight.
DAY 3: FEZ
The whole day is dedicated to Fez, including its Medina and souks, you will also visit the Attarine Medersa (ancient university) and Nejarine Plaza, with its magnificent mosaic fountain and ornate wood sculptures.
Afterwards, stop at the esplanade of the Royal Palace to take some pictures at its sumptuous Golden Door, then we depart for the Merinide’s Tombs, from where you will have a marvellous view of the city. Finish the day with the visit of the pottery factories
DAY 4: FEZ – BENI MELLAL – MARRAKESH
Depart for Marrakesh, driving through the Berber village of Immouzer Kandar and the city of Ifrane (known as ‘the Moroccan Switzerland’ for its cottages and ski station) after lunch, we continue to Marrakesh for overnight.
DAY 5: MARRAKESH
A full day in Marrakesh – your guided visit has been specifically created to visit Old Marrakesh and its sights while giving you a complete overview of the city’s rich 1000-year history, visit the Bahia Palace, the Royal Necropolis of the Saadien Tombs, Jema El Fna, the Koutoubia, and finally walk through the various souks (markets) to see all kinds of wonders for sale.
DAY 6: MARRAKESH – DADES
After breakfast, we depart to Dades via Ouarzazate, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi -n-Tichka pass (2260m altitude) lunch in Ouarzazate and continue across the road of Kasbahs via Skoura.
Overnight in Dades.
DAY 7: DADES – MERZOUGA – BIVOUAC
Depart for Erfoud via Tinerhir, visiting the Todra Gorge (Grand Canyons) en route, when you reach Merzouga, you will transfer to a 4×4 vehicle to cross the majestic dunes of Erg Chebbi, which rise to a height of 150m, enjoy a camel ride from Merzouga to the Nomad Camp in the Sahara on time for the beautiful sunset (1:40 duration approx Or transfer via 4×4- according to your choice).
Note: This Nomad Camp doesn’t serve alcohol but you can bring your own wine. Overnight at a desert camp in nomad tents.
DAY 8: BIVOUAC – MERZOUGA
Early wake-up to admire the splendid sunrise over the Sahara ,The balance of the day is at leisure,you can relax at the pool at the bottom of the dunes or add an optional excursion of a few hours, half a day or a full day in Moto or Quad in the sand dunes.
Note: This Nomad Camp doesn’t serve alcohol but you can bring your own wine Overnight in Merzouga
DAY 9: MERZOUGA – ZAGORA
Depart to Zagora through the Berber villages and Nomad’s Road, lunch in Alnif, Arrival at Zagora.
Dinner and overnight at the Riad.
DAY 10: ZAGORA – OUARZAZATE
After breakfast at the Riad, depart to Ouarzazate via Agdz and the Draa Valley, afternoon sightseeing to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.
Overnight in Ouarzazate.
DAY 11: OUARZAZATE – AGADIR
Depart to Agadir via Taznakhte, Taliouine (known for its Saffron plantation) and Taroudant (the ancient capital of the Souss ).
Overnight in Agadir.
DAY 12: AGADIR – DEPARTURE
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward travel.
