Day 1: Marrakech
Arrival Day Welcome to Morocco! Arrival at the Arrive airport, we will pick you up and drive you to your riad at the Medina. Check in and overnight at your riad. Diner and night
Day 2: Exploring Marrakech
After breakfast in the riad, you can start exploring Marrakech “the red city of Morocco”. Your guide will ensure that you see the most important places of historical and cultural interest, including the Saadian tombs; the Bahia Palace and the Ben Youssef Coranique School. Then you will also walk the souks and enjoy the fascinating colors and the wonderful smells. Lunch at restaurant. In the afternoon visit the gardens at Majorelle; Menara and the Koutoubia tower…. Overnight accommodation will be in your riad.
Day 3: Marrakech – Tizi Ntchka pass – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
After your breakfast, we will depart for Ouarzazat through the famous Tizi Ntichka pass (2260m), over the High Atlas Mountains, snow on its peaks most of the year; appreciate the beauty of the landscape on the twisted road through the Berber villages. Then you’ll get to Ait Ben Haddou village, where stands the famous kasabah, built by the last Berber chieftain El Glaoui Ethami, late 19th century. The Kasbah is recognized as a UNESCO matrimonial historical site, now a house of many Glaoui family members. Lunch at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and continue to Ouarzazat, “the Hollywood of Africa”, where you have the option to visit and see many props used in movies you may already have seen such as Gladiator, Kondon and Alexander the Great. You will leave to explore the fascinating Dades and Rose Valleys. Our first stop will be at Skoura to walk within the Birds Valley and visit the beautiful and well preserved Kasbah of Ameridil.Then we’ll continue to the famous village of Kalaa M’gouna, famous for its roses and rose products. A rose festival is held here every May, when the roses are harvested. Since this is the road of the thousands Kasbahs you’ll have plenty of opportunities to take some beautiful pictures. And then continue to our hotel overlooking the Dades Valley.
Day 4: Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Merzouga
After breakfast, you will go from Dades Vally to Merzouga where the golden dunes, After the town of Tinghir , you get to the Todra Gorge, the narrowest and the highest in the region. Watch the panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages overlooking the valley. Get to the Gorge and walk under the 300m high red cliff, where many Rock-climbers come to enjoy their preferred sport., and then you will pass through Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud and Rissani where we have lunch; you’ll enjoy the beginning of the Saharian oasis Palms of Tafilalet. Your journey continues to Merzouga, after relaxing in your riad where you will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea, (you have an optional camel trek and overnight at the desert camp). Dinner Bed and Breakfast.
Day 5: Merzouga – Midelt – Cedar Forest – Ifran – Fes
After an early magical sunrise, we ride the camels backing to Merzouga (your riad), after taking shower and breakfast. We’ll start our tour on the way to Fes leaving the dunes behind .first stop in Rissani where your guide home family (you will Get some Family hospitality with the family) .You will have the opportunity to walk within the authentic Souk, full with vegetables, spices, dates and alot more; here you will see alot of conservation with men hooded and women veiled. Your journey will continue to Errachidia along the magnificent rich Ziz valley. You will have a stop to enjoy the panoramic view over the ziz Canyon, and through the Tizi Ntalghamt Pass to Midelt and Ifran, next Stop in Zaida to enjoy a barbecue and refresh with a glass of mint tea then continue your journey to Azrou, a berber village in the Middle Atlas Mountains, before which we stop to see the Barbarian apes in the famous Cedar forest. On to Ifran “the French village”, stop for a picture or a drink then drive to your accommodation in Fes midena.
Day 6: Exploring Fes
After breakfast, you have a full day of sightseeing. We visit the authentic city of Fes, where the old medina offers a step back in time. You’ll start the visit of the spiritual capital with an inspiring panoramic view from the south of the Borj, off the Medina, then on to discover the famous pottery factories on foot; the souks, the dyers and the tanneries, the square and the Nejjarine Fountain, outdoor views of the Karaouyine Mosque in heart of Medina. Lunch will be in an ancient palace in the Medina. In the afternoon, an outdoor visit of the Royal Palace, also exploring Fes’s heritage in and around the Jewish Quarter noting its particular houses with forged iron balconies. For lunch you may choose to eat in a traditional restaurant in the heart of the medina. After lunch you will continue the tour and return to your riad for the evening.
Day 7: Fes – Meknes – Volubilis – Rabat
After breakfast . Travelling to Volubilis and Meknes by air-conditioned vehicle. Today you will get to Volubilis, the well preserved Roman Empire in North Africa, dating to 25BC, where you will see the most beautiful Mosaics in Morocco dating back to 3rd century BC. Here you will learn a lot about the Roman occupation and culture in Morocco. Next, continue to the fascinating city of Meknes, the Ismaili capital of Morocco, here you will see the fascinating gate Bab Mansour built by the sultan My Ismail, the royal granary and the Sahrij Souani basin used for irrigation and plantation. After lunch, your journey continues to Rabat. Overnight at Riad
Day 8: Rabat – Casablanca
After breakfast in Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Where we will see the Oudaya Kasbah and its beautiful gardens, This Kasbah of Oudaya is located at Abou Regreg River. It was built during the reign of the Almohad dynasty in 1150 AD. The Mausoleum of Mohamed V and Hassan II, and Hassan Tower which is the minaret of an incomplete mosque in Rabat were constructed in 1195 AD. The tower was intended to be the largest minaret in the world with the mosque. You will travel to Casablanca. Where the Tour ends depends on your flight’s departure.
